Persaud Wins Farmsup Medal Play Golf Tournament

The Lusignan Golf Course saw another strong turnout as 37 golfers teed off in the Farmsup Medal Play Golf Tournament—a competitive and exciting warm-up to the upcoming Guyana Open.


Ten-time national champion Avinash Persaud delivered a stellar performance, claiming the top spot with a Gross and Net score of 67, playing off a zero handicap. Close behind was Naresh Sarwan, who finished with a Gross of 84 and Net 68 (handicap 16), followed by veteran Mike Mangal, who posted a Gross of 74 and Net 68 (handicap 6).


Special prizes were also awarded:

  • Best Net (Front Nine): Gavin Todd (32)

  • Best Net (Back Nine): Naresh Sarwan (31)

  • Nearest to the Pin: Troy Cadogan
