Farmsup Swings into Action with Support for Local Golf Talent

On September 1, 2024, the Lusignan Golf Club hosted the annual Farmsup Golf Tournament, bringing together a diverse group of golfers competing across two handicap categories. The event concluded with Chet Bowling emerging as the overall winner, achieving a net score of 65.
In the 0–14 handicap category, Mohanlal Dinanauth secured first place with a gross score of 76 and a net score of 70. He was followed by Patrick Prashad, who posted a gross score of 83 and a net score of 72, and David Harry, who achieved a gross score of 88 and a net score of 74.
In the 15–28 handicap category, Chet Bowling led with a gross score of 87 and a net score of 65, earning him the overall championship. Maxim Mangra followed with a gross score of 85 and a net score of 67, while Joseph Zeplaki secured third place with a gross score of 92 and a net score of 76.

Special awards were also presented: Patrick Prashad received the 'Closest to the Pin' award, and Avinash Persaud was recognized for the 'Longest Drive'.
Farmsup's Managing Director, Jason van Dijk, expressed pride in sponsoring the tournament and emphasized the company's commitment to supporting the growth of sports like golf in Guyana.
