Farmsup Powers 45-Mile Road Race on West Demerara

Farmsup, in partnership with Develon (formerly Doosan) and Team Alanis, proudly sponsored the recent 45-mile road race held along the West Demerara roadways. The event brought together cyclists from across the country, all pushing themselves for top honors in a competitive and well-supported race.

The race began at Schoonord, turned at Bushy Park in Parika, and concluded back at the starting point—covering a total of 45 miles.

Paul DeNobrega took the win in the Open category, followed by Paul Chooweenam, Kemuel Moses, Mario Washington, Marcus Keiler, and Alex Mendes.

The other standout performances included:

• Veterans Over-50: Talim Shaw

• Veterans Under-50: Paul Chooweenam

• Juniors: Mario Washington

• Female Category: Suzanne Hamilton
