Expanding with Purpose: Farmsup at the Guyana Energy Expo

At this year’s Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo, Farmsup proudly stood among Guyana’s top companies—highlighting not only our robust product lineup, but our deep commitment to after sales service, local talent, and long-term industry partnerships.

With over 30 years of experience supporting Guyana’s industrial growth, our presence at the expo reflected how far we've come—and how far we're going. From agriculture and construction to marine and power generation, our booth offered a snapshot of what it means to deliver reliable solutions across multiple sectors.

Speaking at the event, Sales Manager Dale Van Sluytman noted,

“It’s about offering solutions, not just selling a product. We have the right training and years of experience, making us proactive in identifying and meeting our customers’ needs.”

And that approach is paying off. Once heavily focused on the mining sector, Farmsup is now seeing a more balanced demand thanks to rapid infrastructure growth and the evolving oil and gas industry—something we see as a “phenomenal” shift.

But our growth isn’t just measured in sales—it’s in people. Farmsup proudly employs a team that is 90–95% Guyanese. Through partnerships with institutions like the Guyana Technical Institute, we offer hands-on training to the top five students each year, even sending them abroad to develop further. It’s one way we ensure the next generation of talent is equipped to lead.

We’re also making our equipment more accessible through in-house financing options, giving customers the flexibility to invest in what they need, when they need it.

Looking ahead, Farmsup is preparing for significant expansion—including new offerings in power generation and marine systems, and a goal to double our team to over 300 employees.
